Dental FAQ in Lexington Park, MD

Q: What should I expect on my first visit?

When you schedule your first visit with our dentist in Lexington, MD, one of our office managers will sit down with you in a private area to go through all paperwork with you. You will never be left alone in the waiting room just filling out forms. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service and a personalized experience. We even have coffee and tea available for you, and overhead monitors in the treatment rooms so you can watch your favorite Netflix shows.

Q: How long have the doctors been in practice?

You will be in good hands! Dr. Vivek Amin has been in practice for 25 years. Dr. Tamara Strouth has been in practice for 17 years.

Q: Are dental implants right for me?

A: If you have one or more missing teeth, you may be the ideal candidate for dental implants. We use Nobel Biocare dental implants at our practice and have found that these implants have a high success rate.

Q: Will my treatment be painful?

We do everything we can to minimize any pain, discomfort or stress our patients experience during a dental visit. We offer sedation dentistry options to help you feel more relaxed and even have board certified oral surgeons available if you need IV sedation.

Q: Do you offer same day procedures?

We can take care of emergency dental appointments on the same day, in most cases. We make sure to keep two or three emergency appointment slots open to handle last-minute cases. We also offer CEREC® same day crowns for patients who need tooth restorations and the Teeth-in-a-Day™ procedure using Nobel Biocare dental implants.

Robert's Testimonial

"There's No Pain"

So I’ve always had anxiety going to the dentist ever since I was a young child. I’ve come from a place where dentistry, a long time ago, was not really catering to the patient. It was just ‘we’re gonna work on your mouth’ – and when I came here I had that same fear. They’ve totally changed that for me. There’s no pain, and they explain the procedures, how long it’s going to take, all the steps involved… It’s very comfortable to come and be here.
