Targeted Treatments Using Innovative Dental Technology
Dr. Strouth discusses advanced technology
LightScalpel CO2 laser
The LightScalpel CO2 laser is cutting edge in both concept and application, and can be used in place of frenectomies, which would otherwise require a more invasive procedure. We are excited to begin using our CO2 laser for treatment!
Using laser technology for treatment is all about results. As you might expect, there are a number of benefits that come with this type of treatment. Some benefits are:
- Reduced chair time
- Faster recovery and healing time
- Noninvasive
- Little to no post-procedural discomfort
- Minimized risk of infection
- Less bleeding and swelling
The LightScalpel CO2 laser is safe to use near bridges, crowns, fillings, and other pre-existing dental work. Treatment with the CO2 laser helps minimize tissue damage, which in turn reduces the chances of infection following the procedure.
