Everybody loses bone tissue after tooth loss and the amount lost varies by individual. If you have a missing tooth and lose a significant amount of bone, there may not be enough available to support dental implants. Dr. Vivek Amin and Dr. Tamara Strouth may recommend a bone graft as part of the dental implant surgery treatment process. We can build up the bone tissue with high quality grafting material so that a dental implant can be placed securely into the jaw.
